My name is Jacob Halter and I'm a photographer with a degree in cinematography from Arizona State University, inspired early on by behind-the-scenes filmmaking—especially The Lord of the Rings. That cinematic foundation shapes how I see light, story, and moments.

I’m passionate about working with people and capturing them at their best, whether that’s on a professional set, in a confidence-building boudoir session, or on a wedding day. Collaboration and trust are central to my process.

With experience in unit stills for feature films and television, I’m comfortable under pressure—waiting for the exact moment and delivering when it counts. I’ve worked with brands like Disney, Warner Bros., and Food Network, and photographed talent including Chris Elliott, Kathryn Hahn, and the cast of Percy Jackson.

I grew up at Philmont Scout Ranch and continue to seek out challenging environments, from remote backcountry shoots to mountain summits. Whatever vision you bring, I’ll do everything I can to bring it to life.
